Face masks, love them or hate them, have become the basic necessity of our lives. Whether you are vaccinated or not, face masks are the first and easiest preventive measure against the COVID-19 virus. In addition to social distancing and hand washing, taking appropriate care and storage of your mask is crucial to staying healthy.

Don’t just shove it in your pocket! Carefully fold the mask so that that the outside surface is folded inwards against itself. When reusing your face mask, keep the same side facing out, place it in a sterile plastic bag and only touch the straps with clean fingers. If you believe your mask is contaminated or dirty, be sure to wash or dispose immediately to prevent the spread.
